  Welcome to John of Gaunt Infant and Nursery School, Aylsham, Norfolk  
The children and staff at John of Gaunt Infant and Nursery School welcome you to our website.  We are a successful and thriving infant and nursery school, which has a very happy atmosphere.  We all enjoy working together to provide the very best education for our children.

John of Gaunt Infant and Nursery School is a community school for girls and boys between the ages of three and seven years.  The school is organised into four classes and at present there are approximately 100 children in the main school.  The Nursery accommodates a further 52 part time children.
The school had its most recent OFSTED inspection in March 2008.  It stated that our children thrive because their personal development is exceptionally good.  The report found John of Gaunt Infant and Nursery School to be “a good school with outstanding features”.

John of Gaunt Infant and Nursery School is part of the Aylsham Cluster of Schools.  All of these schools work closely together and have been able to deliver an excellent range of extended schools provision.  Family Learning Days are a regular and important feature and are a great way of joining in with the life of the school.
